Received a phone call from a woman indicating she was from “Brace Doctor” & asked if my name was “xxx” and if I suffered from chronic pain or joint pain. I told her that if she had my file, then she should know otherwise, she is fishing for information and that’s illegal. She continued to pressure me & stated “no, we are going to help and make your chronic pain go away.” I responded by telling her “she has no permission to contact my doctors, as if they wanted their service, they’d contact them personally. Additionally, I already have the top doctors and do not need their help. They have no authorization or rights to access my records.” The girl stated “we WILL be working with your doctors as we want to help.” I said I’ll be filing complaint immediately.

FYI: I’m NOT a Senior; and I do NOT have Medicare.

Hello!

I've started receiving phone calls and text messages from at Hagerstown, MD area code. The texts read: "Hello, it's Lauren! Is there a time you will be free today? I'd like to go over your options for the braces we offer, let me know!" Now I keep getting calls from this number on my phone. When I answer they say "Hello thanks for calling the brace doctor" and offer different selections of products. When I dialed "6" to opt out the phone disconnects.

I received a call from Keena from Brace Doctor and she told me I would get two braces for free. So we set it up for me to receive the braces. I received another call from Keena after I already received the braces and she said she couldn't get them free for me. Later I called Brace Doctor who supplied my braces and they said they have nothing on file that I owed anything and they told me it sounds like someone is trying to scam me.

Not much info to give as I did not fall victim to it. Only read the initial text they sent which came after multiple other text from multiple other numbers that also were trying to obtain personal info all of which started after I inquired about grants for single parent grants for continuing education on SPAOA.org

I got a call from someone claiming to represent a company called "Brace Doctor", saying that either I or someone I know did a survey about back pain. I didn't recall doing such a survey myself. I felt this call was basically phone spam. When I told the caller I was busy and could I call back, she tried to convince me that it would only take a few minutes of my time. I don't like this. I later googled the number off the caller ID, and it doesn't give back a definite result, but was regarded as a telemarketer number, which usually gives no real information. The so-called company has no website that I can find. I finally rudely hung up the phone without giving any personal information. Out of curiosity, I dialed the number back, usually scam numbers don't go through well, but the "Brace Doctor" answered and even addressed me by my name without asking who they are speaking to. I immediately hung up.

Got a text, though I may have missed calls from them first.

Text: " just the Brace Doctor here, following up with you again. We still want to help you find a solution for your pain! Can you talk today?"

I had sprained my ankle in December and thought the doctor's office had good customer service. The text number was local. Then I got a call a few minutes later saying it was my scheduled call time and to press 1 for a representative. She was super nice, said she was in Florida, that I probably filled out something online. She asked for my address, phone, date of birth, insurance number, height, weight, coughing and shoe size, next person of contact. Ugh.

I keep receiving text messages and phone calls from “the brace doctor” about back or knee pain. That I have been referred to them. When I ask questions, they hang up. When I call back, they know who I am and ask me to confirm private, personal information.
