Same as all the other reports for BMD Group. Their email addresses are @gmail.com instead of the company name. They don't ask to reach you in person. It's all too fast and they are pushy. Their format is wrong when they type, improper grammar and spelling. Started asking for my personal information and i demanded they verify their credentials then they disappeared. They claimed they received my inquiry from ZIPRECRUTER website.

Claimed to get my resume from Career Builder. Conducted an interview on Google Hangouts through messages. I thought I would have a video interview but they said they would later. “Mr. Mike”, a 65 y/o from the UK was interviewing me for an administration position. Asked lots of information. I didn’t give them all they wanted. They offered me employment after a short message exchange. They told me they’d send a check with my paycheck and include money to purchase a laptop, software, etc. They gave me options of direct deposit or check. I researched and found BBB scam tracker that helped me identify them as a scam.

I applied on an executive administrative assistant job for BMD Group through indeed.com. i recently got an email from Gopgle Hangouts app to "chat" with "Inuit Inc". They stated that there was an overview of the requirements they were to confirm with me and also a questionnaire with 15 questions. After answering, they then offered to send me a laptop with software to start training and begin working from home starting at $25 per hour. I'm not sure to proceed further since at this point I've only provided my name, city, and state. Something does not sound right with this offer.

Dec. 20th, 2018 This started out as an Job opportunity, asked to set up google hangouts and message, Florence George, had over 45 min. online interview and was hired immediately. I had to meet with them on google hangouts at 9 am, received Employment letter, was not address to me (new hire), next day I was to receive a check via FedEX 4760.00 this was for the sign up bonus and to set up a mini office. I would be given the option to work from home or in the new office once I completed the two week training. I asked where the office would be and no response. I called the CU from which the check that held funds. and the routing number at the bottom of the check was different than what was on their web site. I contacted Florence and explained I couldn't cash the check. I also said my credit union will hold it for 10 days. She said the check was designed to be cashed not to deposit. I have seen as many red flags here but played their game. I was told the new girl in payroll made error and they could have me pay for the items they were shipping me to the tune of 500.00, I declined!

Be careful out there regarding Work from home jobs.

I received a text message that I had applied for a job with this company. They said I was short listed and they wanted to do an interview. I was told the interview was done through google hangouts app or google messenger. I did the interview and was told I was hired. They said it was an online position. I would be paid direct deposit. I was to receive a check through one of their 26 companies that may owe them money and to deposit it in my account and funds would be available the next day to purchase a computer and software through a company they trusted. I let them finish saying what they had to say and I have blocked them from my apps and phone.

Just like another person I read about this same company, I felt suspicious about being scammed, they stated it was a work from home, starting at 34.75. after two weeks of working from home they will be setting up an office in the Wichita area that I will be able to go to work at. Did not make sense to me as I did research online as I was talking to them no such company will exist or even move to the Wichita area. They stated I applied online but after searching the online job sites I used there is not such company that I applied to. They offer to send you money to buy a laptop, hint hint, a way to get your account after you cash that fake check. They also told me to come back online at 9 am tomorrow. I asked if it was 9 am Central time or if they are in a different time zone. If the job was real then they would be able to answer this correctly. They did not know what I was talking about. Do not fall scam to this online work from home scam. If it seems to real then it is, they try to smooth talk you by saying why would I do a scam I do not believe in those things. FAKE PEOPLE.

I felt suspicious about this being a scam, for this reason i decided to do further research I contacted the company through their official facebook page and asked them about the job. The company told me that it was fake. The scammers that i encountered are impersonating this REAL company that is a contruction company based in Australia by using the company's name and the company's website to appear legitimate.

I was first contacted by a man named "Chris John" who is part of this organization. He said that they received my application posted on Indeed (which i applied to some jobs on indeed but not to this job) as a customer service representative. This person who I assumed is the "assistant" said that I would have an interview with the "HR Manager" through google hangout. The whole interview was through messages on google hangouts. The "manager's" title was "Admin CSR" and went by the name of "Mr. Guolett".

When i found out it was a scammed i told the Admin that i found a great job and would kindly decline the offer and he responded by saying "Yes I completely understand! FedEx has failed to deliver your startup check due to funds ran out of the companies FedEx account. The company will resend your startup check Monday and you will receive it first thing Tuesday morning."

i said "there is no need to send the check" and he proceed to say that "you can take this job as a part time".
