I am a new business owner selling Champagne Bottle gifts online in Los Angeles California. On August 9th, 2020 i was contacted by Blueland to sell me goods specifically Champagnes on line. Davies Roger the sales Director sent me their Champagne bottles list that they sold by the case. After reviewing the list; i made my selection and they sent me an invoice with the details of the order and their bank information KNAB TO wire transfer the invoice bill.on August 13th, 2020 i sent them the wire transfer they then confirmed receipt of the funds and sent me a copy of the shipping letting me know that the goods would be shipped by Logistics company and they would sent me a tracking number.

Following on August 21st, 2020 i received an email from the logistics company GISL informing me that they were in charge of the shipping and logistics of the goods and as a new buyer, i was required to purchase a refundable insurance and VAT in order to be compliant with the air cargo transport and i would be refunded the money upon receipt of the goods. the invoice fee was $2310.40 which i sent on August 24, 2020. The logistics company GIS then confirm receipt of the funds and that the goods were on their way and provided me with a tracking number to see the progress of the shipping.

On September 8th, i received an email from logistics company informing me that my goods have been stopped in transit in a SORT in Mexico City and unless i paid the additional fees for the "PRICE CONTROL" which the reason is that BLUELAND LTD has sold me goods that were under below their market value and now as a buyer i was sanctioned and required to pay this fee $2820 otherwise the goods are held indefinitely.

I immediately contacted BLUELAND/David Roger expressing my concerns and he needed to take care of this issue he replied back to me "This is completely not my fault, we can sell goods within Europe and it's never a problem concerning the prices. if the customs in America are controlling the prices of goods being shipped into the continent then it's your problem to deal with.

We don't scam people and the logistics company are also no fraudsters, your goods are in Mexico so do what you can to get them over to the USA."

This is to say the least alarming and heartbreaking as i thing that i may now be the victim of a scam.
