My original correspondence on July 25 2022 was with Blue Mel Yorkies via email [email protected] to inquire if the puppy Karla was still available and later communications were by phone at 719-793-9667 with Louis Gargiso. I received an email that she was still available. I then received by email of a bill of sale for a purebred female yorkie and and a change of ownership certificate for puppy Karla. Upon receipt of payment via Zelle of 900.00 which included shipping the puppy would be shipped by Atlantic Express Cargo on July 26th. They sent me an email [email protected] that the puppy would be shipped from Denver to SeaTac in Washington state then to be delivered my home in Westport Washington. I received flight information later that day however she could not be shipped unless I purchased a special crate. The next delay was because they could not find a direct flight so she would shipped on the July 27th. At this point I said I was coming to pick up the puppy myself to be informed she was in Leavenworth Washington which is 245 miles from my home instead of 94 miles to Sea Tac and now needs a vaccination to protect her from other pets. The next information I received was the need of payment for additional care due to all the delays and additional flight expense. On Friday July 28th I received an email that the puppy had contacted parvovirus and was sent to a veterinarian in Port Angeles Washington and I would need to pay for veterinarian care. I realized I had been scammed and refused to pay any more money. I then received a call from the breeder who assured me I would not pay another penny and the dog would be delivered to me on Saturday the 28th , and then I was informed that the delivery person could not find my home. After no additional information I requested by text to both the breeder and the shipper to not contact me any longer, I received 4 phone calls by the shipper on Sunday. The total monies sent was 6800.00 for the following items, 900.00 for purchase of the puppy and shipping, 1900.00 for the crate, 1000.00 for insurance, 1000.0 for the vaccination, 1000.00 for additional care and 500.00 for the additional flight. I contacted the Atlantic Express Cargo corporate office and have communicated by test with Adam at 1-818-533-8659. I have contacted my attorney regarding this matter. I have copies of several emails if you need additional information.
