Craigs List, homes for rent. Listed a small 2 bedroom home for $600. The guy said he preferred not to talk on the phone because he was partially deaf. So it was all done by email. He gave an address, and home details, even pictures. The home was beautiful! Remodeled. He said to send money, $600 rent and $600 deposit and he would Fed Ex me the keys. I went to the house, it had a for sale sign on it, and the man told me it would. He had it for sale and now had decided to rent it. I started getting worried about sending the money when he told me to send it to his secretary via. Walmart in Waco, TX. that did not sound like a business man. Come to find out, I am not the only person who has reported such a problem. Luckily, my web wise daughter said "I think it is a scam".
