- Grand Prairie, TX, USA

The website Billy Blue Heelers advertises multiple pure breed heeler puppies for sale. When you inquire about the puppies they reply back using [email protected] about that puppy. We picked out a puppy, named Winnie. They provide you with the background of the blue heeler, puppies, once you agree to purchasing the puppy they send you a contract with the amount listed of $700.00 for the puppy Winnie and another $175.00 for the shipping to Dallas International airport. In between this, we have been texting back-and-forth or communicating through this email [email protected]. He list 3 types of payment they accept. Zelle, Pay Pal or Apple Pay. We chose Zelle. He now list that the payment must go to a [email protected]. I questioned Kevin Thomas through a text (the one I’ve been communicating with if that’s his real name) that on the contract the name listed as a Brianna Griffin, (not Brianna Thomas as previously stated through the email we were to send the Zelle money to.) are they the same person? He replies, yes. So I send them the money as discussed and agreed upon. We asked for the delivery date to be Saturday February 25. He agrees. Then, later that night weds 2/22 we get a text saying that he just sold another puppy that he has to take to the airport the next night( Thursday 2/26 ) and asked if we would be willing to let him ship Winnie out the next day too. We said of course. So he said he would make all the arrangements, later giving us all the confirmations and flight details and what time to expect Winnie’s arrival. Thursday morning at 9:15am he sends us a tracking registration code HPT007791148. He said to use that as a tracking code on the Pet Travel website they use which is https://happytailspettravel.com/track-form/. He also says, let me know once the puppy arrives and don’t forget to send me a picture of you and the puppy when she arrives. Everything seems great. We’re so excited since we had just lost recently our beloved Rottweiler, Bella of 12 years. She had a very good life, we took extremely good care of her. She was a very big part of our family and our grandchildren‘s family. So then about an hour later, we get this email from this Pet Travel Agency saying that it’s urgent that we contact them immediately and pay an additional $1490.00 USD for this puppy (Winnie) who is now in quarantine and will not be released and could possibly even be sent to a shelter with us facing criminal charges of pet abandonment If we don’t pay up for her pet travel insurance that’s now needed for our puppie, Winnie. I now call Kevin, the guy that Ive n

been communicating with at phone number 720-728-1686. He answers the phone. I tell him what happened, I even sent him the information he tells me there’s been a big mistake. Asks that I give him 5 minutes to get this all cleared up and he’ll call me right back. Well as you can imagine he never called me back. He did no longer takes my calls and I am not able to get a hold of him only through emailing the lady that we sent the money to through Zelle or unanswered texts. She’s no help at all. She just wants to blame everything on everybody saying she has no idea what we’re talking about and everyone’s been emailing her about all theses illegal activities she’s unaware of. In told her if she’s so innocent why doesn’t she report it like I am, get some help, close down her email so no one can do any more illegal transactions where fraudulent activities are taking place. I told her it’s under her email which she must read and money was transfer using her email…She didn’t have too much to say after that. This is been very hard on us to go through since it’s very personal losing our beautiful Bella. We really wanted the dog Winnie, for us and are granddaughters. Winnie is very beautiful and her eyes looked like my dear Bella, full of love which you can see on their website. We also had my husband’s friend at work. Lisa look into purchasing Winnie herself, and they did the same thing replying back to her that when he is available for sale, yada yada yada. They are reselling the same puppies if they even have any at all. Something is going on here that’s very wrong. I have reported all of this to the FBI through the IC3 form. I have called our bank and reported all this information and much more to them. I will be also faxing or emailing additional information to them. Our proof is texts, emails, the contract and the website picture. I have also reported this to other agencies as well that deal with internet fraud. I have report numbers as well that go along with most of those records if given. I’ve reported to petscans.com, the CFPV, the FTC gov. Tomorrow I will try to email the suspects Denver Colorado Police Department and the Grand Prairie Texas Police Department where I live and file reports with them. I will also be sending all these reports given pictures, emails and other proof of the puppy scams they are running. I don’t want to see anyone else go through what we’re going through right now.
