After typing in the PayPal address, a message box popped up on my laptop screen that told me I had a ZEUS virus. That it is a Trojan backdoor virus. It stated that I must call a toll free number to have my computer fixed. The page behind the box looked like a Windows or Microsoft page, very legit looking. I called the number, he ask for permission to enter my computer, I gave it to him. he began to show me all that he would be fixing. Flags started coming up because he was kind of rude and belittling, but not enough to make you upset. Then more flags. He ask if I did my banking online, did I have a smart TV and how many other devices are used on my router.... He began asking specifics about them. Then the big flag. He wanted $199.00. I ask him what company he was with, he said Best Buy Solutions, I ask Best Buy?. He again said Best Buy Solutions. Then he said "there is nothing for you to worry about, YOU CAN TRUST ME". That was it for me. So I ask if I could pay him with PayPal, figuring PayPal would know if this was a scam and may protect me. The scammer said he would have to ask his manager. When he put me on hold, I hung up the phone turn my laptop off, unplugged my router and turned off my smart phone. I waited awhile, turned the router back on, and the phone calls began. Even though he told me his name was James and gave me his phone number as 1-844-307-1010. He was calling back on a phone that was registered as P. Singh 510-509-1490. I turned my computer back on, and this person still had control of my computer. All the while, he was calling my home phone back to back. I contacted *** support, gave the info. The Tech told me that this was a scam. Even the tech had to do multiple things including taking the battery out of my laptop (first thing he told me to do). As soon as I put the battery back in and started my laptop, it came back up to he scammers page and he was still there. Long story short, It took the *** Tech 3 1/2 hours to clear my computer. Do NOT call any phone number that pops up on your screen. Call the computer company that your computer is from! $400 later, I have all the security that *** can offer me now.

This company sent me an email saying that if I deleted the email my computer would crash and I needed to call the 844-837-1403 number right away after I gave them access to my computer they told me it was going to be $800.00 to fix the problem so I hung up. I had to get my computer cleaned and fixed because the put viruses on it.
