Back Nine Publishing Reports & Reviews (4)

Back Nine Publishing is obviously the same as Direct Fairways. If you Google Direct Fairways you will see my extremely detailed reviews. It is blatantly clear that these two companies are one and the same. They have the same pitch, the same offers, and are both scams. Buyer beware!

Unfortunately, my small business had joined the class of people who have been scammed to invest in an advertisement scheme by this company, The Back Nine.
A woman named Renee reached out to me last fall to advertise my small interior design business to local golf course in their magazine.
I was also promised ten hard copies to hand out to potential clients.
I paid $500 in December 2021 to be published in their Spring 2022 golf season magazine.
I had a few emails back and forth with Samantha Adams in their art department regarding my ad proofs, which made me feel more confident in my decision to invest at the time.
However, they never published my ad specs/proof and have not returned any of my calls or voicemails since last year.

I’m very disappointed that it has come to this and cannot afford hits to my small business.
I just hope our complaints and warning help others to avoid this scam.

I was contacted via phone by Back Nine Publishing -and they sold me advertising space for $550.00 to be advertized in 5 golf club pubications. Beware, small businesses, they looked very legit at the time, ad contract, even providing ad e-proofs and creative. When the publications were not published as promised I tried for more than 6 months to reach out to them with no success.

Several local businesses have received an obnoxious, high pressure sales call from Back Nine Publishing, a magazine whose target audience is private country club members.

Back Nine Publishing was purporting to be affiliated and working our Club, to secure advertising from local businesses and chamber of commerce members. The caller (salesperson) was saying that they work with us and that their publication will be in our locker rooms and clubhouse this coming season. This is not true.
