I kept getting calls from this number and voice mail messages. Today I called them back. I could not understand what the person on the other end was saying due to a heavy accent. I asked her to slow down so I could understand. I told her that I wanted them to take my number off of their call list. I also asked what business they thought they had with me. Instead of answering my question, she asked for the last 4 digits of my ssn. When I wouldn't give that to her, she hung up. So I called back. When I explained to the second person what had happened, she asked me what kind of personal information I was asked for. I told her. Her response was "That's simply untrue." When I asked if she was saying I was lying, she hung up. I called back a third time. I asked what the name of the company was (again I couldn't understand the first part) and asked what business they had with me. He asked if my name was (insert name here). The first name was correct but not the last. I confirmed the first name only. Then he asked if that was my correct last name. I said no. He asked if that was my maiden name and then asked me to confirm the last four digits of my ssn. He actually had that information. When I would not do it and asked what business they had with me he said it was in reference to an unpaid cash advance loan. I told him I had not taken out any cash advance loans. He again repeated the last four of my social. I told him to take my name off the call list and that I was going to report the call. His response, "What the hell?" to which I replied "Do not curse at me." He then hung up. I did not attempt to call back again. I also blocked the number, however, I doubt it will do much good. I've already blocked at least 10 numbers they called from, leaving the exact same message to call them concerning an urgent matter.
