- Austin, TX, USA • May 01, 2024

Received several notices from an unnamed sender (mailed from 63155, a St. Louis, MO, zip code) addressed to me, regarding a Subaru Crosstrek Sport (with my car's VIN listed). Sender asks me to contact them to have my "vehicle service contract activated." They are attempting to sell me an extended vehicle service warranty, even though I just purchased this vehicle a few months ago and bought an extended warranty through Subaru. In place of a return address, they list: "2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport / Official Business / Penalty for Private Use, $300."

- Plymouth, MA, USA • Apr 30, 2024

Received a notice in the mail stating that my Toyota vehicle service contract was expiring and I should respond immediately to the phone number 888 307-2075. Stated I must respond by 5/8/2024. There was no company name, address email or website in the notice. They of course had my address, name and my vehicle information.

- Wilmington, MA, USA • Apr 29, 2024

The scammer included my name and mailing address and make of the vehicle on the communication. It looks like an official communication, although nowhere on the document does it identify the business entity that sent it. The only information that could be used to identify the business is a phone number: 888-307-2075.

- Chelmsford, MA, USA • Apr 15, 2024

Notice received via regular mail resembling official Honda paperwork indicating that the company has not been contacted to have the vehicle service contract activated. Immediate response is requested, stating that vehicle owner will be responsible for paying for any repairs if the warranty is not activated. Response deadline of less than 1 week is noted in bold capital letters. Includes vehicle owner name and address, vehicle year, make, and model, and references a “Customer ID” number.

Received a letter regarding "my" vehicle service contract and warranty on a 2017 Hyundai Ioniq listing make, model, and a VIN# addressed to my name and address for a vehicle that I have never owned. States Immediate Response Requested and that if my factory warranty expires I will be responsible for all repairs and to call them before it is too late. Lists operating days and hours and phone number, but no business name or address. It's a scam.

- Durango, CO, USA • Apr 02, 2024

These scammers have been sending me mail since 2020. I finally called the number today to get removed from their junk mailings and got repeated recordings about getting a free Life Alert. I was unable to get a hold of a human.

- Crestview, FL, USA • Mar 27, 2024

Recieved a letter stating that my vehicle's service warranty had not been activated, and to call the number to activate a service contract on my vehicle. I know this is a scam because my husband and I purchased a warranty at the dealership at the time of purchase/leasing applied to our loan. I have reached out to our dealership and warranty provider and was informed our warranty is indeed active still and this is a scam. I have seen additional feedback on other websites regarding the number provided that this "company" pretends to be representatives of various big name manufacturers (ie they state they are Hyundai, or Ford, or Subaru, etc. when they in fact are not).
